EFNYO General Assembly in Limassol, May 24th - 27th, 2018

EFNYO's annual General Assembly will be held in Limassol/Cyprus between May 24th - 27th, 2018. The four-day event is kindly hosted by our Cypriot partner, the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra Foundation, and held at the Pattichion Municipal Museum in Limassol.

Next to EFNYO internal and membership issues, the General Assembly will focus on:

* Cyprus' and EFNYO's role in connecting Europe with its neighbouring countries around the Mediterranean Basin.

* New training formats under the MusXchange programme 2018-20, and ways of bilateral/multilateral cooperation between EFNYO member orchestras and partners.

* Panel discussion with guest speakers Elena Theodoulou-Charalambous (Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture/ Music Research Innovation and International Networking Center), Georgia Doetzer (Artistic Director of Paphos 2017 - European Capital of Culture), and Nenad Bogdanovic (Cyprus Symphony Orchestra Foundation) on issues of artistic programming, nurturing of young talent, audience development, and creative entrepreneurship.

The conference will start with a welcome dinner on Thursday 24th, which is traditionally hosted by EFNYO.

Delegates are also offered a sightseeing tour in Limassol on the evening of Friday 25th (incl. dinner), and a concert of the Music School of the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra on the evening of Saturday 26th (incl. dinner).

In order to register for the General Assembly, EFNYO members and guests are asked to contact the EFNYO office.
